Expertise Units

The expertise unit offers scientific and technical support in all areas of basic and advanced microscopy workflows. This includes support during the conceptualization and experimental design phase, sample preparation methodologies, instrument configuration, image data acquisition, and downstream bio-image informatics and data analysis.

The Long Read Sequencing Expertise Unit is part of CMN and the UAntwerp Core Facility. We offer excellent support for ONT nanopore sequencing projects starting from project conception to interpretation of the results.

The Collaborative Research & Grants Unit smoothens the task of looking for strategic funding opportunities and collaborators, , assists in preparing the best possible grant application and helps researchers cut through the red tape so they can get to work on the science.

The Biobank Expertise Unit of the VIB Center for Molecular Neurology was established in 2020 to promote high-quality translational research and therapeutic innovation.

The Biostatistics Expertise Unit at the VIB Center for Molecular Neurology offers support in genetic epidemiology and biostatistics, from study design to data analysis and interpretation.
